These terms explain the rules for using The Fluent Engineer website and learning platform (“the Service”). By joining or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Fluent Engineer is a professional-English learning service for engineers, students, and researchers, run from Türkiye. You can reach us any time at thefluentengineer@gmail.com.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details (name and email) when you join, and keep your access secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your country (generally 13 or older, or the age of digital consent where you live).
3. The launch offer
During our launch, everyone who joins gets Pro free for three (3) months — all lessons, vocabulary, reading, and speaking practice. The three months are counted from the day you join. After the free period, some Pro features may require a paid subscription. We will make any pricing clear before you are ever charged, and we will never charge you automatically without your agreement.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the lessons and materials for your own personal learning.
- Do not copy, republish, resell, or redistribute our lessons, content, or materials.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or misuse the Service, or use it unlawfully.
5. Our content
All lessons, text, images, mascots, and materials on the Service belong to The Fluent Engineer and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for learning while you use the Service.
6. Bookings and payments
If you book a one-to-one or group session, that booking is an agreement for that session only. Any price and payment terms are confirmed with you at the time of booking.
7. Availability and changes
The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features as the platform evolves, and we may update these terms — the date above shows the latest version.
8. Learning results
The Service is an educational tool. Your progress depends on your own practice, so we cannot guarantee a specific score or outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, The Fluent Engineer is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend access that breaks these terms.
